In 2024, Listen Love Pray Foundation will offer a 4-day healing conference called "Something More". We chose Shepherd University for the beautiful location and excellent facilities, including dining and lodging on campus. From June 19 - June 22, 2024, LLP will host 5 speakers, 40 small groups, 80 individual prayer sessions, and 3 special music/worship experiences with Nashville artist, Julie True. We trust that folks will experience peace, healing, hope, and renewed strength for whatever they may face in the days ahead. The 2024 Something More healing conference is designed to be a beacon of hope to all in our community who find themselves in need healing and restoration of any sort. In our everyday work, LLP interacts with adults of all ages using unique multi-faceted programs to bring hope and healing to hearts filled with despair and discouragement. We listen-love-pray with people with physical maladies such as cancer, heart disease, arthritis, GI issues, back pain, and many other problems that are rampant in our society. We work with individuals who have mental health issues such as depression and anxiety, as well as men and women who experience divorce, death, or desertion. We offer 130 different recovery programs every year to combat substance abuse disorder that continues to rain destruction on individuals and the families who love them.
Conference speakers:
Christine Casten is the Executive Director of The Warrior Commission - a global online community where leaders and influencers bring synergy for ALL – to encourage, equip and empower with our First Love -Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Effective leaders walk along side and discover roles of passion, rather than position. Christine's passion? Value and Kingdom voice – Value comes through deep connection to the heart of God. Relationship with God empowers Kingdom voice and makes a positive impact in all our areas of influence.
Josh Watson is a part of the Journey Church in Newark, Delaware. His church's mission is to help people find Jesus and follow him fully. Josh loves serving on the Journey's worship team, helping to create an environment for people to experience the presence of God. He has also had the opportunity to speak at the Journey's student ministry, special prayer events, and weekend gatherings. It is his passion to help others know and experience the transformative and healing love of Jesus. Josh has a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Delaware and a love for problem solving and studying God's creation. Josh lives in Northern Delaware and enjoys reading, computer programming, playing music with his friends, and talking with people about Jesus.
Nathan Williams currently serves as the Executive Pastor of New Life Foursquare Church in Frederick, Maryland. He previously served as a Lead Pastor in Virginia’s New River Valley for roughly 4 years.
Nathan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible and Theology from Global University and is both licensed and ordained within the Foursquare denomination. With over a decade of experience in pastoral ministry, Nathan leads out of a deep passion for discipleship and spiritual formation.
He has been married to his wife and high school sweetheart, Stephanie, since April 2015 and together they have two young daughters, Mackenzie (4) and Olivia (2). Nathan enjoys life with his family, playing/creating music, reading, and watching Dallas Mavericks basketball games (Go Mavs)!
Ken and Lucinda Nelson are co-founders of LLP. Over the last 7 years, their ever-expanding team has been guided by Holy Spirit to bring the hope and healing love of Jesus to anyone in need. In 2022, the LLP team responded to 2,150 prayer requests via private prayer sessions, healing services, and recovery ministries.
Brett Barry is a minister, songwriter, and lead worshiper committed to helping the Bride of Christ prepare Her vows as we grow in understanding of our identity and purpose in Him. For over three decades he has ministered among the nations as a touring artist, speaker, and director of worship. Julie True is a Nashville artist and creator of numerous Christ-centered albums. During 3 special worship sessions, her anointed music will help bring hearts into the love of the Father where all things are possible.
